Project HyPSTER

HyPSTER is the first EU supported project aiming for large scale green hydrogen underground storage in salt caverns. ESK is in charge of a work package dedicated to the development of tools and methods for cyclability.  We also work in partnership on the demonstration of H2 storage and cyclic testing in salt caverns.

This project has received funding from the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Join Undertaking (now Clean Hydrogen Partnership) under Grant Agreement No. 101006751. This Joint Undertaking receives support from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme, Hydrogen Europe and Hydrogen Europe Researc
