Focus on a sustainable generation of energy
We contribute towards a secure generation of energy and a supply with sustainable solutions. In doing so, we focus primarily on renewable energy sources such as geothermal energy, solar and hydrogen.

Production of geothermal energy
Thermal energy from the earth's interior is an almost inexhaustible source of energy. The intensive utilisation of this energy has the potential to put the heat supply on a fundamentally new footing. Big cities can be supplied with this energy in a climate-neutral and sustainable way. Deep geothermal energy in particular - i.e. deposits at depths below 400 metres - offer good conditions for the production and provision of large quantities of heat due to the higher temperature level.
Various methods are available for heat production:
- Hydrothermal energy: naturally occurring geothermal fluids at depth are pumped to the surface, the heat is extracted and the cold water is pumped back underground for reheating
- Petrothermal energy: in systems often referred to as HDR (Hot Dry Rock), the less permeable layers are artificially stimulated and flow paths are created for the water to be injected. The cold water is then continuously injected into a borehole and then produced at a high temperature via another borehole that is also connected to the artificial fracture system.
- Deep geothermal probes: like domestic heating, this method is based on a closed system. Two boreholes are connected deep underground over a long horizontal distance. The cold water injected into one borehole heats up as it flows through the borehole and the heat can then be extracted at the top of the production borehole.

Project planning of large-scale photovoltaic power systems (pv systems)
We support our customers in the construction and operation of a large-scale ground mounted photovoltaic (pv) system (free-field solar power plants/solar parks). Starting with an initial site assessment, we prepare a well-founded forecast of the economic viability of the project. In the subsequent project planning phase, we offer support on individual issues, depending on the customer's requirements, from handling sub-projects such as the approval procedure, EEG remuneration or direct marketing of the electricity, through to the overall implementation and realisation of the solar park. Each project is individual, and we provide project-related resources as required.
Types of photovoltaic power stations:
- Free-field photovoltaics on commercial and industrial sites, conversion areas and car parks
- Free-field photovoltaics along motorways and railways
- Free-field photovoltaics on green spaces
- Agrivoltaics (Agri-PV)
- Floatovoltaics (Floating photovoltaics)

Generation of hydrogen
When generating hydrogen, our experts will advise you throughout the various service phases, from project development to commissioning. As early as the site prequalification stage, we take into account the supply of electricity and water to the generation plant, in addition to regulatory measures. We also consider the possible consumers in order to offer our customers the most economical solution, regardless of manufacturer and technology.
Utilisation of hydrogen
Whether as an additive to the natural gas grid, utilisation as a process gas in process engineering plants or in the mobility sector - our experts will find the right solution.
