According to a revision of the Mining Ordinance for Deep Drilling, Underground Storage and the Extraction of Mineral Resources by Drilling in the State of Lower Saxony (BVOT) in 2022, oil and gas deep wells need to be regularly checked for leaks by accredited technical experts. 

The software tool bohris.cloud is developed by ESK in cooperation with EXXETA AG. It allows the administration of well data and can be used as an integrated part of a well integrity management system and as the basis for technical expert reports according to BVOT.
